Curriculum Associates is seeking an Educational Sales Associate to join our growing team supporting over 10-million users nationwide! The Educational Sales Associate has multiple responsibilities supporting educators who both currently use Curriculum Associates solutions and who are prospects for Curriculum Associates solutions. The ESA is an expert in Curriculum Associates solutions and can match educators needs with CA products. The ESA supports the local sales team with prospecting activities, such as site visits, email and call campaigns and sometimes being the initial customer contact and face of CA. Support is equally important as sales, so a large part of the job is focused on helping educators to use CA solutions to their highest potential.

The impact you'll have:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as Sales Operations, Field Marketing, Account Management and Sales Teams.
  • Contact existing schools and school districts to offer on site or virtual support to help move educators forward on their path of using CA tools to help students.
  • Proactively connect and establish relationships with educators in strategic pilots and accounts to ensure successful implementations.
  • Share best practices with educators through email, web and in person while sharing best practices from other schools. Be the "connector."
  • Prospect for new schools and school districts to introduce them to the company, gaining an understanding of their needs and determining the best product(s) to address their needs.
  • Perform web-based and on-site demonstrations of products. Become an expert on the company's products, the issues faced by teachers in the classroom and the latest trends.
  • Monitor, screen, and respond timely to all internal/external communications.

Who we're looking for:

  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office suite products, Adobe suite products, and CRMs (such as Salesforce)
  • You are able to meet educators at their level, providing individualized support as needed
  • You are knowledgeable with Common Core State Standards, Grades K–8 (or comparable state standards), including content standards, the practice standards and contemporary pedagogy best practices
  • You are an exceptional communicator – both orally and in writing
  • You believe that building trust and dependability is the foundation for great interpersonal and customer relationships
  • You love to captivate and engage with an audience of educators
  • You are a forever learner, committed to maintaining and improving your knowledge of the industry standards and emerging trends
  • You are solutions-focused and results-oriented
  • You are equally as skilled at collaborating as you are with working independently
  • You aren't intimidated by ambiguity, instead thriving with creative problem solving and strategizing
  • You are an expert-level organizer, able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • You are able to lift boxes as heavy as 30 lbs.

Travel: 5-10% overnight travel (post COVID). Daily driving to support the territory 4-5 days per week.
