We are seeking an experienced General Residential Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-sufficient motivator overseeing several new residential projects located in Kings, Tulare, Kern, and Fresno Counties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise several construction projects to ensure that each project is constructed in accordance with planned design, budget, and schedule
• Inspect work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
• Represent the company in project meetings with sub-contractors and municipalities
• Assume responsibility for production, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions of scheduling, material control and provide day-to-day direction of onsite duties
• Review production schedules and final walk schedules ensuring homes are completed on time
• Train Superintendents on scheduling subcontractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and maintaining a good working relationship with sub-contractors
• Work closely with other departments at SJV Homes

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, a college degree is preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Construction software
• Minimum of 5 years of construction management, estimating, and supervision experience
• Blueprint reading
• OSHA Certified Preferred
• Must pass a background check and drug testing
• The ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and or leadership team members
• The ability to demonstrate experience in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to remain calm, focused, positive, and cheerful while changing direction and priorities frequently
• Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills
• Demonstrate commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers
• The ability to make recommendations to resolve problems or issues and make decisions effectively

Salary:
$90,000-$100,0000 and benefit package, including a 401k plan
