General Statement of Job
The Badging Specialist will work alongside a well-selected team of professionals in a fast-paced environment. Duties include but are not limited to helping employees and contractors resolve badging issues via phone, email and in-person by verifying the individual's security bona fides and issuing or extending temporary badges as appropriate. In addition, you will be responsible for assisting with various administrative badging duties, many of which calls for good judgment and creative problem solving in the absence of specific instructions. The Badging Specialist reports directly to the Security Supervisor.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
- Activate and distribute badges for employees, contractors, vendors and temporary visitors as appropriate for their specific situation
- Resolve employees' and contractors' badging issues via phone, intranet, and in person
- Diligently manage the Restrictive Clearance list, granting and removing access to specified individuals on a daily basis; liaison daily with the client and SIS management to ensure list is kept up-to-date
- Conduct monthly and quarterly access control audits and provide access control configuration reports
- Distribute and keep track of all access control equipment and supplies globally
- Assist GSOC with client and employee requests (e.g. access control issues and troubleshooting)
- Create employee profiles for new hires, including photograph and retinal scan (where applicable)
- Interact daily with the client, leaving a consistently positive impression with each and every interaction
