Job Overview
Under the general direction of the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, the Graduate Studies Coordinator performs complex student services professional work for the University's masters and doctoral programs. The incumbent is responsible for the development and implementation of programming and operations that support the function of admissions, degree progress, and graduation services. The position is also responsible for complex policy and procedure analyses necessary for the delivery of student services in alignment with both internal and external regulations. The incumbent will independently assess student needs using performance related instruments and personal interviews and design appropriate interventions. The incumbent is expected to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders, including but not limited to students, faculty, University community members, and external partners.

Graduate Studies Coordinator (Student Services Professional III)
This is a full time, exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.
This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.

Anticipated Salary Range: $4,691 - $5,370 per month
CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,691 - $6,683 per month
