TRANSPORTATION ENTRY-LEVEL RECRUITER NEEDED

THIS IS A THREE-MONTH ASSIGNMENT WITH THE STRONG POSSIBILITY OF BECOMING A PERMANENT ROLE.
$25.00-$27.00 per hour.
We are a major transportation company in Oakland. We are seeking an entry-level recruiter to assist us in growing and maintaining our fleet of independent contractor drivers, who make pick-ups and deliveries of ocean containers in the Port of Oakland. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, energetic and with a high degree of organizational skills.
The Position:
You will report to our Manager of Fleet Recruitment. You will be working every day to seek out new drivers for our fleet, explain the benefits of driving with us, and turning them over to our compliance team once they agree to come on board with us.
More about the Role:
· Use of internal databases as well as investigating outside resources to help grow our list of potential drivers.
· You will interact with the Manager of Fleet Recruitment, as well as our sales staff, to help create recruiting strategies.
· Creating, develop and maintain relationships with potential drivers and leads.
· Provide reporting and status update on recruitment, onboarding and market intelligence.
· Meet or exceed daily, weekly, or monthly key performance indicators.
· Provide driver / lane / route feedback from Driver Appreciation functions.

· You have amazing people skills, comfortable on phone or in-person.
· Proven organizational skills and able to pivot between projects as needed.
· Highly motivated and can be depended upon to stay the course with your outreach every day.
· Strong verbal and written skills and can report appropriately up the 'chain of command' in a coherent, professional manner.
