Overview:
Hi! Susie is working on some startups in beauty and fashion. She's located in San Ramon during the week (Monday afternoon - Thursday) and in San Francisco during the weekend (Thursday afternoon - Monday morning) and she's looking for a great designer that she can meet and work with about once a week (preferably in San Francisco). This is a part time, contractor position to work on product packaging, web design, social media design, marketing materials, branding and other design related work.
Purity Cosmetics has a new entity set up just for R&D called 2pt0, which this position will be under.

Experience:
- Experience with photoshop, illustrator, indesign and any other design software preferred
Work Environment:
- This position may travel 1-2 times a week to San Francisco for work purposes.
Position Responsibilities:
This role is a creative, multi-functional designer for primarily package design, branding, UI/UX design, marketing materials, creating style guides and other misc design work. This is a startup / innovation lab and this contractor position is expected to wear multiple hats to get things done.
Packaging Design:
- Create or follow style guide.
- Create new packaging designs within style guide.
- Develop beautiful, new packaging concepts while keeping brand cohesive.
- Understand both technical and creative needs to provide creative packaging solutions that meet product development objectives.
- Partner with internal and external agencies and vendors including: product development, packaging vendors and consultants.
- Provide clear and concise communication to ensure designs are built to spec, remedies challenges effectively and professionally.
- Manage assigned projects, track to schedule, creative adheres to vision and executes properly.
- This position may also participate in special projects (i.e. graphic design) and perform other duties as reasonably assigned.
